Cherry Creek Dam Flush by United States Army Corp of Engineers
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has scheduled annual flushing of the Cherry Creek Dam to begin on Wednesday, May 22nd as part of annual flushing to ensure proper operation of the dam’s outlet gates. Please be advised that higher than normal flows of water will be expected in Cherry Creek in the areas downstream from the reservoir.
